Garden Cottage:
A simple little cottage was on a double wide lot with tremendous potential for an intimate connection to the garden. The renovation entailed reorienting the interior spaces for better entertaining and enjoyment of the garden. The landscape was organized around terraced outdoor spaces and a central water feature. The garden was designed as an inviting and informal set of outdoor
rooms that incorporate native granite and naturalized terraces. The interior is relaxed and informal as well. A local artisan built a gently undulating kitchen serving counter terminating in a curved table-top supported by a gnarled cedar trunk. This serves as a central focal point as well as a gathering spot for the family.
