Poore & Co. is an innovative, interdisciplinary design firm founded by Jonathan Poore. We have been providing integrated design services to the North Shore and Boston area for over twenty years. In addition to architectural design, we have a broad variety of skills that we bring to each assignment.
Jonathan Poore, the principal of Poore & Co., has always been passionate about observing and understanding the interplay among natural, built, and social environments. This process leads seamlessly to comprehensively green projects and also creates places where people truly want to be.
In addition, Jonathan has a broad background in Historic Preservation, Landscape Design, and Color Design. Other skills on staff include Master Planning, Period Interior Design, Decorative Arts, Furniture Design, Photography, and Art Direction.
We offer a full range of services on projects of all sizes. This can range from consulting to comprehensive services and from conceptual design through full construction administration.
Pocket garden: This compact garden in a left over space along a dirt lane was created through a romantic layering of stonework, decorative ironwork, and plantings.
Sense of place – Natural materials, combined with rich indirect lighting, create an uncluttered, inviting residential living space.
